Dear Players,

The past few weeks

In just two weeks we have been able to provide two unique baseball trips to beautiful areas just as scenic as they are historic. Last week we hosted the first Cardines Classic in beautiful Newport Rhode Island. Although Cardines Field is rich in history, it was our purpose to bring our players and their families to this nautical wonderland.  This event was designed to bring couples and families together to one of America’s most historic cities for sightseeing, shopping, a beautiful sunset cruise and of course some baseball. The response we received from all the players and wives from the weekend was so positive that we will have the dates for the next Cardines Classic very soon. In fact one of our groups may want to return next month if we can put it together. Again I would like to thank all the players and their significant others for a very uplifting three days.

Just one week later we found ourselves in another historic village….Cooperstown New York.

As I drive home and dictated this to our assistant Justin (who did a great job at the event), I am finally after many years leaving Cooperstown fulfilled, happy, and upbeat and hopeful that we can make this event grow to become the National Father/Son tournament in the nation. We had 24 fathers and their sons with us this weekend in not only a very competitive atmosphere, but one that showed that they understood that this trip was first and foremost about family.

I make this promise to my clients that I will work harder than ever to promote this event so that I may help bring more fathers, sons, and daughters together for years to come through baseball and play in historic Cooperstown. We enjoyed a trip to the Hall of Fame, great weather, great fields and just plain and simply put, a great 3 days. It took a long time for me personally to enjoy Cooperstown on a personal level, but this year I did, thanks to our campers. Next year’s dates will be announced very soon.

As most of you know I am heading to Japan this week for our annual trip. Many thanks to those players who have signed up and especially to John Baessler who organizes and runs the show over there. Without him it would never happen…We have an unbelievable week ahead of us…playing against Japanese Adult teams, playing in 2 domes and going to a Tokyo Giants game….keep an eye on Facebook for the pictures etc.

Sayonara for now
