2025, has us returning to Rickwood Field which served as the host this year to the Civil Rights Game between the Giants and Cardinals. If you’ve had the chance to play there with us before, it will be even more special this year as the field has been redone to MLB standards, including new dugouts, mound, outfield grass and a slight reconfiguring of the field, that’s make this trip an absolute no brainer.
The price for The return to Rickwood is:
Single Players: Early registration is $395 (After, December 31, 2024, $445)
Early registration Team rates for up to 13 players is $4750 (After December 31, 2024 is $5525)
You’ll be scheduled to play at least 5 games. We will be procuring a secondary field at this event.
Space is extremely limited for Rickwood. Only 6 teams will get to experience the new playing surface and dugouts built especially for the MLB games.
The fee is for baseball only! There is no locker, lunch or laundry at this event.
Come play at America’s oldest field with a new look and feel.

Rickwood is the oldest continuously used park in America. It was home to the Birmingham Barons and Black Barons. More Hall of Famers have played on Rickwood Field than any other. In 2018, after a year of some refurbishing at the historic field, Rickwood will open its doors and Play at the Plate will have the honor of playing the first games at America’s oldest park!
Quite frankly, this is my favorite place in the whole world to play ball. More hall-of-famers have graced this field than perhaps any other in baseball history. It’s a great time of year to go to beautiful Birmingham Alabama. So that all being said, this is your chance to play ball with us in one very special setting. If you have not played there before, you owe it to yourself to get there. It’s that special!!
