Dear Players,

Let’s talk about:

PALM BEACH RECAP

RICKWOOD CLASSIC

MUD HENS MANIA

DOUBLEDAY FALL CLASSIC

We’d like to thank all the players who came down to Palm Beach very recently for a great sun drenched 4 days of baseball, camaraderie and competition at one of America’s special sites, Roger Dean Stadium and complex in Jupiter Florida.

Clearly the 2 best teams met on Saturday afternoon to decide who would be this year’s champions. The Reds beat the very formidable Knights of Chicago and took their 11 title in 13 years. All the teams got into the win column.

Next year’s dates for Palm Beach will be April 6-9, 2017.

So now we set our sights on the summer schedule, which will feature trips to Birmingham Alabama, Toledo Ohio and Cooperstown N.Y.

RICKWOOD CLASSIC

As of this writing, there are only a few single spots left for our Rickwood Classic. Three teams have agreed to join us including the 3 time defending champs, the Muckbaggers of Atlanta.

So if you are interested in playing ball at America’s oldest field, sign up today!! It’s just $150 per single player.

MUD HENS MANIA IN TOLEDO

In early August (5-7) we will return to Toledo Ohio for the 2nd Annual Mud Hens Mania which will again take place at historic Ned Skeldon Field and 5/3 Field in downtown Toledo.

If you sign up for that event in the next 2 weeks, you can save up to 15% on the single player fee and $100 on the father/son rate. Sign up on line and pay the full price and we’ll mail out the rebate immediately…it’s just easier this way. The single player fee is $525 and Father/Son is $895

COOPERSTOWN DOUBLE DAY CLASSIC

Speaking of father/sons…It’s time to start planning that trip to Cooperstown this September 23-25. It’s our parent child event. Last year we had 19 father/son combos at this event and we are hoping to get at least 30. It’s a great trip for a parent to take their child to a place like Doubleday Field. It will include not only playing at that historic field in downtown Cooperstown, but a private visit to the National Baseball Museum and Hall of Fame. No other group offers this to their campers. It’s a great family vacation as there is plenty of other activities in the area to do. It’s also pocket book friendly with the lodging and easy in getting around the town.

This event is promoted as our true father son event, but you can attend as a team or as a single player. The single rate is $395, Father/Sons $750, Father/ 2 Sons $995 and great team rate of $4500 for a team of 12. ($350 per player after 12)

Well I am sure your leagues back home have started, hope you’re playing well and totally immersed in baseball…it’s a great time of year….
