Where are the pennant races this year?

It’s mid September, and we die hard baseball fans should be glued to the tube watching those out of town scores. Not this year. This has to rank as one of the worst years for a playoff race as I can remember. Other than the Red Sox holding a 2 game lead on Texas for the Wild Card, not much else is  very close.  I’m not complaining, (Iguess I am really) my team (Cardinals) has a 10 game lead but where the hell is the excitement. I’m watching tennis for God’s sake, and saw most of the Jets game yeasterday. I usually don’t get into football until baseball is close to being over. Hopefully the excitement will pick up during the MLB playoffs. Got a prediction?………………..

    I beg to differ………………….
The Tigers have what seems to be a comfortable lead on MINN and the WHITE SOX. 5.5 with 20 games left. I’d be a lot happier with an 8 game lead. Wild card is fun to watch but is not a division race. All but the AL Central are set for sure. I’ll be scoreboard watching for the next two weeks for sure.
    See you next week Greenie.
